The exercises

What is Bavelu?

Bavelu gives you short daily exercise sessions for your neck, shoulders and back. Each day brings a new session – press play and follow along with the video. If you have AirPods, Bavelu can also remind you to sit up straight and guide you through calm stretches.

Who creates the exercises?

Every session is created and filmed by a physiotherapist with 15 years of practice. No AI-generated content – only proven methods.

How long does a session take?

Just a few minutes. You choose how much time you have during setup, and your daily sessions are put together to fit it.

Do I need any equipment?

No. No mat, no weights – you can do the sessions at your desk or in the living room, in whatever you have on.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing breaks. Up to two missed days a week are covered by streak freezes, so your streak keeps going. Just pick up where you left off.

AirPods

Do I need AirPods?

No. Your daily sessions work without them. AirPods add two extras: posture reminders while you work and Motion Stretching, where the stretches follow your head.

Which AirPods work?

AirPods with motion sensors: AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods 4, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.

How does posture tracking work?

During setup you save how you sit when you sit tall. While tracking is on, Bavelu follows how you hold your head through the motion sensors in your AirPods. When you’ve been slouching for a while, you’ll hear a gentle beep – and when you straighten up, a sound confirms it. It works with the app in the background.

You can pick how strict it is: Focus for desk work, Relaxed for meetings or reading, and Active when you move around.

Why does Bavelu ask for Motion & Fitness and Bluetooth?

Motion & Fitness lets Bavelu read the motion sensors in your AirPods – without it, posture tracking and Motion Stretching can’t work. Bluetooth is optional: it lets Bavelu notice when you put your AirPods on and remind you to start tracking.

Motion data is processed on your phone and never leaves it.

My AirPods won’t connect. What can I do?

Put both AirPods in, wait a moment, then open Control Center and choose your AirPods as the audio output. If they’re connected to another device, tap “Not connecting? Tap to nudge them” in the app. If they still don’t show up, put them in the case, open the lid and hold the button on the case until the light flashes white.

Does tracking use a lot of battery?

Tracking keeps the app running in the background and uses your AirPods’ sensors, so it does use some extra battery on both. Stop tracking whenever you don’t need it.

Settings & data

Does Bavelu work with Apple Health?

Yes. Connect it in Profile and every finished session is saved to Apple Health as a Flexibility workout; finished Motion Stretching routines are saved as Mindful Minutes. Bavelu only writes to Apple Health – it never reads your health data.

How do I change my notifications?

Go to Profile → Notifications. You can turn the daily reminder, posture alerts and the AirPods reminder on or off separately, and change the time of your daily reminder.

How do I change the language?

Go to Profile → Language. It opens Bavelu’s page in iOS Settings, where you can choose English or Czech.

Where is my data stored?

Your answers, progress and settings are stored on your phone. Logging out erases them. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Bavelu.

Is Bavelu a medical device?

No. Bavelu offers general exercises and posture reminders and doesn’t replace advice from a doctor or physiotherapist. If you feel pain during an exercise, stop – and if your pain is strong or doesn’t go away, see a professional.
